The NEX family Vivo is quite peculiar. It is the family of terminals in which the Chinese firm experiences, the greatest exponents being the Vivo NEX(a pioneer in pop-up cameras) and the Vivo NEX Dual Display (with two screens). The next terminal we expect is the Vivo NEX 3, which has appeared on occasion in video and has now been completely filtered.
The Vivo NEX 3 will have a cascade screen, an elegant way of saying that the screen will be curved and will occupy almost 100% of the front. Its design is more than known, but its specifications remained in the shade. Until now.
Two high-end with up to 12 GB of RAM
Specifications of the new Vivo NEX 3 and Vivo NEX 3 5G.
According to some, the Vivo NEX 3 will be a high-end full-fledged range. It will have a 6.89-inch curved screen with FullHD + resolution (2,256 x 1,080 pixels) that will occupy a whopping 99.6% of the front. Under it will be the fingerprint reader, which is unknown if it will be optical or ultrasonic.
For the engine, Vivo has not spared and its NEX 3 will arrive with the Snapdragon 855 Plus, the latest from Qualcomm. This stands out for having eight cores at a maximum speed of 2.96 GHz and an overclocked GPU, something designed to offer better gaming performance.
Beside it, 8 or 12 GB of RAM that will be combined with several versions of internal storage, namely: 128, 256 and 512 GB. The battery will be 4,500 mAh with 44W fast charge and will be charged through a USB Type-C port.
For the photographic section, the Vivo NEX 3 will set aside the 48-megapixel sensors to pass to 64 megapixels, possibly from the hand of a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1. Next, to it, two other 13-megapixel sensors each, so three rear cameras in total. The selfies, meanwhile, will have a resolution of 16 megapixels.
The 5G version only differs in the modem, the rest of the specifications do not change
We said before that there is a 5G version, and we have not talked about it so far because they are exactly the same, at least inside. Same size, same components, but different modem, since the Vivo NEX 3 5G will feature the Snapdragon X50. A curious detail: both terminals will have a mini-jack of headphones.
It is confirmed that Vivo NEX 3 will arrive throughout the month of September, but the exact date is unknown.
