Four cameras and shark fin
The photographic section is the most prominent of this model, for three reasons, although one of them is not expected.
For starters, the front camera is the same as we have seen in the OPPO Reno, with 20 Mpx and a shark fin mechanical system, so there is no type of notch.
To continue, we are facing a terminal with four rear sensors. The main one is 48 Mpx, a Sony IMX586 with optical stabilization. We also have a wide angle of 8 Mpx and a monochrome sensor of 2 Mpx that we understand serves to help the rest to take data, not to take pictures given its low resolution. Finally we have a 13 Mpx telephoto.
To finish we have to talk about the zoom. OPPO boasted in its 20 magnification zoom teasers and although we did not expect it to be optical, it was at least hybrid. It is not the case. The OPPO Reno 2 has a 5-zoom hybrid zoom, like the one the Mate 20 Pro had last year. The 20-zoom zoom is digital, quite a click.
A middle range with steroids
The configuration of its specifications point well to a high-end content in screen and processor resolution or to a mid-range with a lot of memory.
The chip chosen is the Snapdragon 730G, and there is only one variant, with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, which will have a 6.5-inch screen and 2400 x 1080 px resolution with AMOLED technology. Under it is the fingerprint sensor on the screen, which is optical.
The 4000 mAh battery will be charged with OPPO VOOC 3.0 technology, one of the most efficient fast charges on the market.
Price and availability
The cost of this mobile, in exchange, is about 450 euros to change , correct when trying to compete with devices such as the Samsung Galaxy A80, somewhat more expensive, or with the Xiaomi Mi 9. It will go on sale in September in India and hopefully, later, it will reach other countries.
