Nothing less than at the beginning of June the first rumours about the successor of the Moto E5 Plus go back when the passage of the possible Moto E6 Plus by Geekbench advanced that it would arrive with the Helio P22 of MediaTek and Android 9 Pie onboard. Just a month later, from the FCC certification entity, we received more details about Motorola’s new phone: there would be two variants depending on the RAM and capacity, and it would have a 3,000 mAh battery.
The images published a few days ago also revealed a drop-shaped notch, dual rear camera and fingerprint reader. Now that there are few days left for IFA, a fair in which it is expected to be announced, the Moto E6 Plus has undergone a new filtration that reveals its design and various features.
Two configurations and three different colours
The German media WinFuture has published what appear to be the press images of the Moto E6 Plus, which, unlike the Moto E6, has a drop-shaped notch to house the front camera. This camera, in principle, would have a resolution of 8 megapixels.
Despite the glossy finish that can be seen in the photos, the back cover would be made of plastic and would be available, at least, in three different colours: graphite grey, bronze and cherry red. In that back is where we find the double main camera vertically aligned to the left and the Motorola logo that will probably act as a fingerprint reader.
Everything indicates that the rear camera will have a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for depth effects. In addition, as seen in these images, the Moto E6 Plus would include a MicroUSB connection and a headphone jack. At the moment, there are no details on the screen, although it is speculated that it will have a diagonal around 6 inches.
Recall, finally, that, as we said at the beginning, Motorola will equip the Moto E6 Plus with the Helio P22, a low-end chip signed by MediaTekwhose eight cores running at 2 GHz. It will be sold in two variants: one with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, and another with 4 and 64 GB respectively.
