Honor Band 5
Honor has presented a new quantification bracelet, the Honor Band 5, an alternative to the latest Xiaomi bracelet, the Mi Smart Band 4.
Quantification wristbands have been one of the few wearable products that have been successful. Part of its fault is its low price, but also that they offer the fair benefits that a user requires, without crazy innovations.
Color display and similar design
The new Honor bracelet has a design similar to that of the Honor Band 4, although in this case it has a 0.95 inch color screen with OLED technology that allows you to modify the appearance of the screen in previously impossible ways thanks to the covers that We can use to show the time, calories or distance, among other parameters.
The resolution is 120 x 240 px and has 2.5 D glass that makes the use and gestures more comfortable.
The battery is 100 mAh and although there is not much capacity from the brand they assure that autonomies of up to 20 days can be achieved, a more than acceptable figure, especially having Bluetooth 4.2, since this model of bracelet does not have Bluetooth 5.0.
Now with blood oxygen meter
In addition to normal sensors such as the pedometer and the heart rate meter, the Honor Band 5 has a new sensor that is capable of measuring the amount of oxygen and blood allowing better control of the effort we do in training.
Both this function and others are controlled from the application that we install on our mobile.
Price and availability
At the moment this bracelet is put on sale in China in two variables, one with NFC and one without this chip for mobile payments. At the change prices are 29 and 24 euros, although they will rise when they come to Spain if they arrive.
