Disney + is one of the most anticipated streaming services. The application will initially be compatible with Android, Android TV and Chromecast.
A few hours ago we met new details about Disney + the new streaming service that will allow us to enjoy all the contents of the entertainment giant. It seems that the initial launch will not be exclusive to the United States, and we already know all the platforms that the service will initially reach.
Disney + is going strong: 6.99 euros and compatible with almost all platforms
The streaming services market is experiencing a moment of expansion. While Netflix seems to remain a leader in the production of digital content, it seems that maintaining this leadership will be increasingly difficult.
Disney + is consolidated as one of the toughest contenders, and it is that it not only brings the entire Disney catalogue and its own productions, but it also has a catalogue that Netflix itself had a license to broadcast.
Recently we have discovered new details about the Disney + service, and we finally know the price it will have in Europe. This price initially starts at 6.99 euros per month, with the option to get us one year for 69.99 euros. In the annual mode, we would save two months of the gift.
In addition to prices, we know the list of initial devices from which we can have all the contents on demand. It was quite evident that Android would be on the initial list, but it never hurts to know with the official confirmation. We will also have application for Android TV and compatibility with Chromecast, an important added value to having the application installed on the mobile.
In case you have doubts, these would be the platforms on which we can initially enjoy Disney +:
- Apple TV (tvOS)
- Android TV
- Web browsers
- iPad (iPadOS)
- iPhone (iOS)
- Playstation 4
- Roku players
- Roku TV
- Xbox One
Disney + will be available from November 12, 2019, in the United States, Canada and the Netherlands. At this time we do not know the date of arrival in Spain, but perhaps registering with VPN there are not many problems.
